What are the Ford Explorer trim levels?
Explorer, XLT, Limited, ST, and Platinum are the five trim levels available, as well as a unique Hybrid Limited powertrain option. Explorer (base trim)

ST Trim
The Ford Explorer ST trim is the way to go if you’re a serious performance enthusiast. This is because this trim includes a standard 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 engine. This engine has a power output of 400 horsepower and a torque output of 415 pound-feet, allowing it to tow up to 5,600 pounds. That’s a significant amount of muscle.
Platinum
This interior trim’s silky texture and luxurious design are a treat for the eyes and the back. This high-end design is available off with a genuine Ash Swirl wood-trimmed instrument panel and door-trim appliques. This trim also lets you add two extra speakers to your Bang & Olufsen B&OTM Sound System, bringing the total number of speakers to fourteen. This will further enhance the depth of your audio.
